WAMK hits the big time..
I received an e-mail last week from the lovely and talented Katie Favazza, who is the Managing Editor for Townhall Magazine. Every month, Townhall features a few bloggers in the magazine, allowing them to post short pieces on topical stuff.
Anyway, WAMK was selected to write a brief piece on the upcoming DNC hoopla here in Denver. I submitted my article, and got good reviews from Katie and some of the folks at Townhall. Let me tell you, I have a whole new respect for people that write for a living every day.
It's hard enough to come up with blog posts on a regular basis, but being given a topic and a deadline is tough. That same article being in print, and not having hyperlinks inside the body of the writing is a challenge as well.
So well done, columnists. I now understand why every now and then you write a "clunker", and have more respect for the great writers who never seem to but a bad one down on paper.
By the way, Townhallers, I'll be in DC in early August. I'd love to come by for a tour of my new corner office and say "hi".
