No Media bias..
It's not like the MSM is treating McCain any different than Obama. Just look at the coverage McCain received on his campaign stop yesterday:
The senator's low-key arrival in Manchester stood in stark contrast to his Democratic rival's ongoing visit to the Middle East. Sen. Barack Obama, of Illinois, was swarmed by media as he arrived in Baghdad yesterday for a meeting with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and other Iraqi leaders.
It was the second leg of Obama's excursion, following a visit to Afghanistan over the weekend.
McCain spent most of the day in Maine, where he joined former President George H.W. Bush in Kennebunkport and later campaigned in Portland with the state's two Republican senators.
In Manchester last night, there was just one reporter and one photographer waiting for McCain as his plane -- a white, blue and gold Boeing 737-400 emblazoned with his campaign slogan, "Reform, Prosperity, Peace" -- touched down on the Wiggins Airways tarmac.

Maybe the extra coverage was needed to correct the impression that Barack hasn't been to Iraq in 925 days.

Or it's possible, I suppose, that there are MORE REPORTERS stationed in the war zone than near Wiggins Airways depot in Maine.

I guess I missed the announcement that Katie, Brian, and Charlie were all operating out of the Networks new HQ's in Iraq. It's not like those three anchors followed him over there or anything.

How do you explain all those reporter that somehow found their way to the Obama photo-op in Unity with Hillary! A few weeks ago?
I thought all those reporters were in the Middle East?

Hey, here's something we both failed to consider:

***...But Newsweek’s Holly Bailey recently noted that McCain “chose not to take reporters” on his trip abroad because he “was on official Senate travel” and aides worried about stories “questioning whether he was improperly using his Senate office to benefit his presidential campaign.”
Bailey added, “In contrast, the Obama campaign is inviting reporters on its tour, handling all the logistics — including transportation.” Reporters would have faced “a logistical nightmare…keep[ing] up with McCain as they flew commercially from stop to stop. (McCain traveled by a military aircraft).” ***

My issue isn't the differenc in coverage between McCain and Obama during their trip(s) to Iraq, it's the level of coverage Obama is getting from the MSM while he is overseas, as compared to what McCain didn't get while campaigning here in the States.

A little more cutting and pasting, via MoveOn.org: Some things McCain has done that has been ignored by that liberally-biased MSM.
At least six times, McCain has talked about his policy toward Czechoslovakia—a country that hasn't existed for over 15 years.
McCain consistently makes foreign policy mistakes—he talked about the "Iraq-Pakistan border" when they don't share a border and confused "Somalia" with "Sudan."
At least four times, McCain said Iran is helping Al Qaeda in Iraq—but Iran is Shiite and Al Qaeda is Sunni. They are fighting each other! McCain's campaign admitted the mistake and then McCain did it again!
This is in addition to the CBS incident where they edited out innacurate remarks about the surge. If they're covering him less, it's probably doing it out of a desire to keep him out of trouble.

Good grief. Are we going to play the who made the most/worst gaffe game again?
How about Obama talking about being the President for the next 8 to 10 years?

I've said it before, I'll say it again. These guys are on the road, talking for 20 hours out of every day. They get tired. They screw up. The gaffes don't bother me as much as the outright lying on positions. The poor judgement calls. Things that matter.
Every election cycle, someone in a crowd will ask a candidate a stupid question like "How much is a postage stamp?" The candidate invariably will say something dumb like "I don't know, a quarter?" and this is to show us how out of touch Candidate "A" is with the common people.
Do you understand the difference?

My point is not that McCain is making mistakes, my point is that the liberally-biased media isn't exploiting them.
