You know it would be ridiculed on every news talk show.
Despite acknowledging there are “no credible or specific threats” to the safety of the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis on Sunday, the TSA is training thousands of fast food sellers and other vendors to spot terrorists under the “First Observer” program.
“TSA said over 8,000 stadium vendors, parking lot attendants, shuttle bus drivers, and other transportation professionals received the agency’s First Observer training for detecting and assessing indicators and planning tactics of potential terrorist activities,”
"Would you like mustard for the hot dog, and is that a suicide vest you have on?" I'm happy when the guy behind the corner gets my order right, much less foiling a terrorist threat. And why does TSA think that the guy who is prepared to do extreme damage at the Super Bowl is going to stop for some Dippin' Dots before he launches his plan?
I hope SNL and The Daily Show mock this for exactly what it is.
