This issue isn’t going away until Ms. Warren either makes this statement or offers verifiable proof of her claim. Fessing up is the best option for a campaign that is presently on life support. I can with certainty say that dozens of genealogists are going to take a very close look at any new evidence offered up by the Warren campaign. Based on the results of their previous efforts to offer “corroborating evidence,” who knows where that may lead?

Which begs an obvious question: If Obama has endorsed federalism and believes that states have the right to define marriage, then why doesn't he support the ability of states to extricate themselves from Obamacare? Why don't states have the right to dictate their immigration laws? And does he “personally” believe that states should be able decide the issue of abortion? Roe v. Wade exists, but so does the Defense of Marriage Act.

Why, indeed.

I'd say Apple partnering with Sprint and Verizon is paying off..

Pretty amazing that a platform available across many device makers (Android) has taken such a bath in the last quarter.  Also, look at how far BlackBerry (RIM) has fallen in the last few quarters.  What used to be the go-to phone for business, is now an afterthought, losing 2/3 of their market share in a year.

President Obama says that he'll veto the payroll tax cut if the Keystone Pipeline is added to it:

“Any effort to try to tie Keystone to the payroll-tax cut, I will reject,” Obama told reporters Wednesday after meeting at the White House with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Obama said he would not accept a payroll-tax-holiday bill to which Republicans add “extraneous” provisions.

“I don’t expect to have to veto it because I expect they’re going to have enough sense over on Capitol Hill to do the people’s business, and not try to load it up with a bunch of politics,” the president said.

Capitol Hill Republicans, backed by industry groups, want to force a quick decision on the pipeline, which the administration currently plans to review into 2013.

Michael Steel, a spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), said Republicans welcome a showdown with the president over Keystone.

“If President Obama threatens to veto it over a provision that creates American jobs, that’s a fight we’re ready to have,” he said.

Why does the President hate adding new jobs so much?

The Obama Administration continues to blur the lines.

The Center for American Progress (CAP), the George Soros funded Democratic messaging machine, runs the aggressive Think Progress website.

Think Progress is obsessed with attacking the Tea Party movement as racist, the Koch Brothers as evil manipulators, and Clarence Thomas as corrupt.  Think Progress blogger Matthew Yglesias helped ignite the false storythat Sarah Palin’s electoral map was connected to the Gabrielle Giffords shooting.

Think Progress is the public face of CAP, dominating news cycles with its relentless attacks on anyone who opposes Obama.

CAP, which was run for years by former Clinton adviser John Podesta, now is run by a former Obama campaign staffer, Neera Tanden.

Now the White House is bringing a senior CAP strategist Jennifer Palmieri into the White House to help prepare for the 2012 campaign.  As reported by Glenn Thrush at Politico:

The White House is bringing onboard  high-octane Clinton administration  veteran Jennifer Palmieri , a top official at the progressive Center for  American Progress think tank, to beef up its communications unit heading into  2012, POLITICO has learned.

Palmieri , who currently serves as president of CAP’s political action fund  and as a senior vice president at the parent organization, replaces former  deputy communications director Jennifer Psaki, who left for the private sector  earlier this fall.

A senior Obama campaign official now runs CAP and Think Progress.  A senior CAP strategist now helps run the 2012 campaign from inside the White House.  The full embrace of CAP and Think Progress by the White House is just another sign that 2012 will be the nastiest campaign ever, with the truth the first victim.

The merger of the White House and Think Progress is just about complete.  Think Progress is in control, or is the Obama campaign, or is there no difference anymore?

They obviously can't run on their accomplishments over the last three years, so they will have to resort to getting down and dirty.  Funny how those that rail against Corporatism and its influence in politics, turn the other cheek when it happens to benefit their candidate, isn't it?
