You'll recall Brian Holloway, the former New England Patriots lineman whose vacation home in upstate New York was broken into, urinated on and generally destroyed by partying teenagers. The party became a story because Holloway publicly shamed the 200-300 idiot kids who posted pictures and tweets cataloguing the various ways they mangled his property. Now some parents want to sue him for it.
On July 22, 29-year-old Wechsler was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting three of the children--aged 7, 8 and 15--on multiple occasions. A fourth child -- a 3-year-old-- was not mentioned as a victim.
He confessed to sexually assaulting the children while taking care of them.
On July 26, the woman told Northampton County youth officials that she left her children with Wechsler on several occasions, despite knowing his sexual behavior towards them, police said.
She also admitted letting him spend the night on July 21 when the 7-year-old was sexually assaulted, and leaving him with the children the next day while she went to the store, the documents indicate. She also said she knew she was not to leave the children with him.
Hopefully those kids get into a family that actually cares for their well being..
It's the same type of story, but this time a high profile Democrat is the one being blamed.
Remember how we were told that Mother Sheehan had some sort of moral superiority because it was her child that was killed? The same courtesy will be extended to this mother, right?
When I see this mother making the rounds of all the morning network shows, and on all of the Sunday shows, and on all the shows on MSNBC, then I'll believe the MSM and the Left weren't using Mother Sheehan as a political prop.
As an aside, will the Pharmacist or cashier ask for ID from the purchaser?
Probably not, because we know that asking for ID is tantamount to racism, as minorities don't have ID (which I have been told over and over and over by Democrats).
What if the girl in question is 14 years, and 50 weeks old? If the Pharmacist allows her to buy the pill, he is presumably breaking the law (as is she). If he doesn't, he's now punished the girl (in the words of the President) with a baby that could have been prevented, had it not been for her age.
Where exactly does a 15-year old get an ID, anyway? Too young to drive a car, and since school ID's don't typically say the child'sage/birthdate, how will the Pharmacist know how old she is?
What happens if a 17-year old buys the pills, and then gives them to a 13-year old? If that happened with cigarettes or beer, there are legal ramifications. Will there be similar laws for this? If not, why not?
Lots of questions, and those are just the first ones that rolled off the top of my brain. I'm sure there are additional ones that will come with more thought.
A judge in Arizona has refused to divorce the "pregnant man" that gave birth to three kids.
Welcome to the world's most confusing divorce case. A judge in Arizona today declined to grant a divorce to Thomas Beatie, who attained minor celebrity status as the "pregnant man" a few years back and gave birth to three children. Beatie, who was born a woman but identifies as a man, married wife Nancy in Hawaii in 2003. But was he a man or a woman at the time? Beatie had undergone a double-mastectomy by then and was starting hormone therapy, but he still had a woman's reproductive organs, reports AP. The judge today decreed that there wasn't enough evidence proving Beatie was a man at the time of the wedding. That makes it a same-sex marriage, which means that the state of Arizona doesn't recognize it. And if the state doesn't recognize the marriage, it can't grant a divorce, either.
