I was back East for a few days at Corporate for some meetings, and flew out early this morning, which meant I had a few hours available Thursday night to catch up with an old friend I had never met.
I reached out to Paulie once my travel plans finalized, and he was gracious enough to drive over to my hotel to pick me up. We found a packed Mexican place not too far away, enjoyed a few adult beverages, some good chow, and great conversation. Of course we talked politics, sports, admired some of the waitstaff, and had a great time.
It's always neat to meet up with folks you have been chatting with for some time, and my visit with Paulie was without question the highlight of this trip.
(And Paulie? Heard the Amac radio spot today on Hugh Hewitt when I got back to WAMK World HQ!)
