The number "dropped" to 428,000 new claims, still a long way from the historical "normal" of 325,000 per week.  Recovery Summer, Mr. President?  500,000 jobs a month, Mr. Biden?

Can you imagine if Michele Bachmann had said something like this?

It would be above-the-fold news for days!  But because a Democrat (and a man) said it, it will be passed off as "one of those gaffes" politicians make, and not an indicator of intelligence.

Will we hear the drumbeat loud and strong from the voices on the Left about how Durbin is so clueless, that he doesn't know that people not born in this Country are ineligible to hold the office of President? 

I'm not holding my breath.

Wait a minute..

I thought Scott Walker was going to gut the Wisconsin educational system, and use the empty schoolhouses for Koch Brothers sweatshops.  How can this report be true?

Cost savings from worker contributions to health care and retirement, taking effect today as part of the new collective bargaining laws, will swing the Kaukauna School District from a $400,000 budget deficit to an estimated $1.5 million surplus, the Post-Crescent in Appleton reports.  The district tells the Post-Crescent that it plans to hire teachers and reduce class size.

All together now Teachers Union: THANK YOU, GOVERNOR WALKER!

So Walker's plan not only eliminates a deficit, it creates a significant surplus, and creates teaching jobs.  And reduces class size.

Can't wait to hear the spin about how Walker is still Hitler.

What are Americans most concerned with today?

Is it the $3.7 trillion we are spending fighting 3, or 4, or 5 wars (we are in so many conflicts under the Nobel Peace Prize President, I lose count)?  Nope.

Is it the high unemployment that we were promised wouldn't go over 8% if we passed The Obama Stimulus?  Nope.

Is it a nuclear Iran?  Nope.

A bankrupt Greece, opening the door for a failed Portugal, Ireland, and Spain?  Nope.

Is it a housing bubble that is looking like it may "pop" once again?  Nope.

What is important is that Michele Bachmann made a *gasp* error or two by not being specific enough for some on the Left.  And as we all know, only Republican women make goofs when speaking in public.  Can you imagine how stupid she would look if she referred to some soldiers as "corpse" men? Or if she screwed up a little detail of which Medal of Honor recipient was alive, and which one was dead?

Look, I understand why making fun of the occasional screw-up by your political opponent is the only thing the Left can do.  They can't point to much of anything that Obama has done to make things better in this Country since he has been in office.  They can't point to the balanced budget amendments that the Democrats tried to put in place over the last two years (what has it been now, 800 or 900 days since the Democrats last presented a budget?).  They can't run on the success of the "shovel ready" projects our hard-earned money went to.  They can't point to our renewed respect in the World.  They can't point to closing Gitmo.  They can't point to the most open Administration in history.  They can't point to anything that was promised, that has come to fruition, that has created jobs, and made lives better for a majority of Americans.

Obama is losing Independents, Jews, Youth, Black, Women (and some far-Left Democrats!) day-by-day.  His stump speech is one of fear and uncertainty.

So all the Left has left is to demonize and marginalize whomever the current front-runner is.

Sure seems like a winning strategy, Left.  Keep up the good work.  I'm sure it will work for you as well in 2012 as it did in 2010.

Michelle Obama says bad food kills us, her husband ignores her advice.  If her husband (and the Most Powerful Man in the World) thinks her advice is bunk, why should kids listen to FLOTUS?

Obama might not want to tell First lady Michelle Obama, who runs an anti-obesity campaign, that he ate at a place best known for serving mountains of greasy food.

Ross' restaurant is known for dishes called "Mountains"; their signature dish is the Magic Mountain: Texas grilled toast, hamburger meat, French fries or hash browns and cheese sauce.

Freidhof, who didn't realize the president would be visiting until she watched his motorcade turn off the highway, renamed the signature dish 'Presidential Magic Mountain' in his honor for the day.

"Anybody who wants one, I will buy it for you," Obama said, according to the report.

The president bought Magic Mountains for three customers in the restaurant, and brought four Magic Mountains and two Volcanos (the Magic Mountain with the addition of chili) back to traveling companions.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney ordered a Volcano but told reporters he could not finish it.

Obama also challenged the accompanying members of the press to eat "the whole thing." He called them "chickens" for not taking them up on the challenge.

Healthy food a requirement for you, not for the Elites who write the policy.

I'm sure this is nothing to be concerned over..

After all, Iran told us that they needed nuclear reactors for power, not weapons.  These missles are probably going to be used to deliver electricity to the Tehran suburbs, right?

What we should really be doing here in the United States, is discussing if Michele Bachmann meant John Wayne's lineage, or John Wayne Gacy.  Because that is an issue that Americans really want to focus on, and has long-lasting ramifications
