“I would say that in the 30 years I’ve been working in public health, the only thing like this has been AIDS,”
Dr. Tom Friedman, Director of the CDC
The lady in Spain that has Ebola (the first known case of the disease being transmitted outside of West Africa) had a dog that was put down. Let's assume the dog had Ebola as well, and sniffed/licked/swapped saliva with another dog (or dogs) on the daily walk, and then those dogs became infected, carrying the virus back into their master's homes.
Is that such a leap to consider?
